This website is run by TSL Kirklees (a local charity that supports and represents charities, voluntary and community groups and social enterprises) and is designed to help you find the right volunteers for our organisation.

The TSL Kirklees Volunteering team can help you develop your volunteering programme.

In return for this free service we ask that you:

  • Respond to any volunteer enquiries you receive via our website as promptly as possible (within 10 working days).

  • Let us know when a volunteer enquiry is then successfully placed with your organisation.

By completing the information below you are consenting to us making it public. You will receive enquiry emails via our website from prospective volunteers.

Please note that:

  1. All new organisations will need to be approved by us before they are able to post a volunteer role on our website. (If you are a TSL Kirklees member, you may be able to use the same login to login here and add your volunteering opportunities. If you’re not sure, you can contact for further details.)
  2. Volunteering roles will normally be advertised on our website for 3 months, after which you will get an email asking if you would like it to be advertised for a further 3 months. This is to ensure all the volunteer roles that we advertise are up-to-date. Please see our Terms and Conditions for further information.

Please give us some details about your organisation.

Your account details will be confirmed by email. As soon as you receive them, you will be able to login and start adding your volunteering opportunities. If there are any problems with your registration, a member of our team will be in touch, and if you have any questions please call us on 07776 588 691 or 07776 588 699, or email us at

Covid-Safe Volunteering

If you are volunteering in lockdown, please make sure that you are staying safe and are up-to-date with the current rules and guidance.

From 29th March, you should continue to volunteer from home where possible unless you cannot reasonably do so. You can leave home to volunteer if you are not required to isolate for any reason. Please make sure that you are following the guidelines to stay safe.

From 12th April, we move to Step 2 of the Government's lockdown easing roadmap.  This is when charity shops, libraries, and community centres can reopen, and cafes can serve people outside, which will mean that more people will be volunteering outside their homes and we may start to get more new volunteering opportunities.

If you are looking for a volunteering role, please visit our I Want To Volunteer page.
